根据华小一二三年级所学的字汇编写，让孩子在不依靠父母或师长的情况下，能自行阅读故事书。

“我会读好故事”故事系列符合华小课程大纲“阅读与理解故事”的需求。书内附有思考题、人生小智慧和生活小知识，启发孩子的思维和增加孩子的知识。此故事系列提供故事伴读CD。

These story books are based on vocabularies introduced in year 1-3 according to Malaysian Chinese primary school (SJKC) syllabus. These allowed the children to read by themselves independently without assistance from parents, teachers.

Pinyin notation is provided for selected words in the "我会读好故事" series.
